TLDR: Bapdap is live on Google Play and App Store
Publish Android App on Google Play
I have completed the closed testing period on Google Play. This process involved finding 12 people who are wiling to install your app (and hopefully give you feedback) over the course of 2 weeks. I am not a huge fan of the process - seems like a great option to have, but for somebody who wanted to get an app launched so that I could efficiently ask people I know (and don't) for feedback, I would prefer the ability to launch directly. But at least the requirement has been decreased from 20 to 12 testers - a step in the right direction in my opinion.
Next up: I think I have one final submission, and then this will be live in Google Play. π€

## Publish iOS App on App Store
On the iOS side, there is no tester requirement. But the last app I submitted (bump app for golf β) got rejected a couple of times because I did not have any input validation/error handling (e.g., not a high bar - I just had 0). I imagine that I will have to work through some validation issues. Plus, I am not providing an API key for Gemini - users need to provide their own if they want to have AI assisted plan building. I can imagine that this may cause challenges to getting the app published - we will see.
As far as what is required:
- Go to App Store Connect app on your Mac.
- Create a new app (which entails creating a new App Id probably)
- Create an Archive of your app
- Distribute your Archive on your Window > Organizer page
It probably takes an hour to walk through all of this - I will start putting together more details of what needs to happen (unless I find somebody else who has already done this). π€ I am a couple of changes from being live on the App Store as well.
